What era were you born into?
I was born 24th August 1967 in London and so the Hippy flower power
movement was at it's height
Summer of love and all that business... seems like decades ago
...hold on a minute, it IS decades ago

Re: What era were you born into?
I was born 14th september 1977, so I suppose that makes it orange Flares, platform shoes and handlebar moustaches.
Quinn that makes you nearly exactly 10 years older than me.

Re: What era were you born into?
born in 1971, probably the latter stages of the hippie movement? one of my earliest memories is being in 1st year infants at school and the teacher telling us how much she loved the bay city rollers

Re: What era were you born into?
Another one for 1975, I think a pivotal moment for a kid is realising about time and calendars and dates and how it moves on. First time I actually remember acknowledging the moving on of time was in the Summer of 1983, I'd have been 7 years old and new it was 1983 when someone asked me. I think that's fairly defining as it shows when my social awreness started to kick in. So although born in the 70s I remember nothing from them and would say my early years were shaped by my experiences of the culture of the 80s.
Given a choice I'd have been born 15 years earlier so I could have lived to have seen Hendrix at the Isle of Wight, Phil Lynott front Thin Lizzy and see Zep live in their heyday.

Re: What era were you born into?
I arrived in 1933. I can only think of the 2.6 8C.
Quick warning that date of birth is an important and necessary item in stealing your identity.

Re: What era were you born into?
I'm 1/6/1988 so that would put me into a 90's kid I suppose. Nothing really happened then except for I was too late to get the celtic tiger boom bastards.

Re: What era were you born into?
January 1970 I arrived. Remember around the age of four, being subjected to wearing brown nylon flares with tartan stripes. The full ensemble of course, being the skinny rib polo neck too. Yuck!

Re: What era were you born into?
1979 - so does that mean the punk era?
Don't suppose it made it as far as North Wales, anyway.
I was a true 80s brat, though
