`whats In A Colour?`

When picking up our black/gray Gt./cream leather int;
after some service work,
yesterday,
we found along side our car..

A Gt.silver/Tan leather int;

And strange too say that
we ,wife and I.
did a double take,
really looked larger than ours,
even seemed to have a greater bearing
if you know what I mean?

Anyone else noticed this type of thing
re;clour etc;?

Re: `whats In A Colour?`

Obviously, there are certain combinations that work better than others. Black with cream leather is a fav of mine, as is white with red leather. My car is a light blue, not sure of the exact name, with black leather and it looks ok but nothing special. I have seen some bizarre combos and some have worked others havent. Just yesterday a customer parked outside work in a dark blue Vanquish with green leather and it didnt look as bad as it sounds to be honest, although not something i would have chosen.

As far as dashboards go, i have always preferred light colours to the standard black. I hate wood interiors in any guise, and would rather eat my own feet than have any of it sprayed, i.e. red, blue, green whatever, and think people that do it should be killed on sight. I'm not a huge fan of white dials either, to me they look tacky.

Re: `whats In A Colour?`

I've got a silver 156 with blue leather, my mate's got Silver with red leather.
Both look OK as they contrast the car. Black with Red fine, Black with Black (or my Dark Blue, not so good).
Brown (or tan) seems to go with everything.
Had a Red Sprint with Brown seats, yet the carpet was very Green, seemed to work, although I was very young.
I like my black/orange dials on my V6, yet the white dials on my mates TS don't seem tacky. If you fit aftermarket 'cut-out' dials then that's a different story.

...if wishes were fishes, we'd all cast nets...
