Let's bash Kia...(Better than Alfa-bashing)

I've sent this to Top Gear to take the heat off Alfas.

Kia plan on introducing:

A new supercar.

An upmarket soft-road estate.

And a fast ute/estate crossover.

The superCee'd will be out first, in 2009. It will be superceded by the PreCee'd (A Premium Recreational Estate). After the superCee'd is superceded by the PreCee'd they will introduce a fully-automated Wagon Estate Executive Diesel (WEED) which will turn into a Sports Option Wagon at the touch of a button. This will be the first self-sowing Cee'd, so there will be bloody WEEDs everywhere.

I could make a Korea out of this...

I've got a picanto as a courtesy car at the moment while the spiders in being repaired

It should have been called the Kia Toasta, as it has the looks and the driving dynamics of one ...a truly awful car.. avoid at all costs

My mum has one, a 1.0 3-cyl. She likes it. Says it all really!

Re: Let's bash Kia...(Better than Alfa-bashing)

My wife has a Kia Picanto that's coming up for four years old. It has cost us nothing other than fuel, insurance, servicing, RFT (£40/year) and tyres.

It has ABS, a good Panasonic stereo, aircon, alloys, leccy everything, metallic paint, a smooth wee engine and does 50mpg. It cost (new) £6,999.

Slag that off if you will.

Re: Let's bash Kia...(Better than Alfa-bashing)

But it's a KIA surely you'd be better with a broken Alfa that you could us in a Fred Flinstone manner than driving one or have you tried Public Transport it's just as entertaining as a KIA.

Sensible answer Damien......not!

My wife needs a small reliable car and she wants one that's cheap to run. I think in terms of what it's designed for and supposed to do the Picanto is up there with the Gallardo. And it can be surprisingly entertaining too

I had a Kia a while ago. When it was frosty I had to climb in the boot and push the door open !!
