So...its the morning after the night before.......the morning after the long awaited Topgear....

Who was driving to work today and may as well have had a neon sign on top of their car saying 'DID YOU SEE TOPGEAR...IM DRIVING AN ALFA....WHO'S LAUGHING NOW???????? '


SO im driving to work and my mind wanders to last night episode...'points for overtaking?' mmmmmmm possibly.....POINTS FOR OVERTAKING (safely) AUDI'S AND BMW'S???

I was +2 .....2 BMW's ........

What's the next challenge

TBH I thought it was awful show

I thought it desparaged Alfa Romeo - and despite Clarkson going on about the soul...Blah Blah..

I thought it did nothing to highlight the Marque as we know it in a good light.

this is a thread for people who loved the show

I'm also getting a bit bored with Hammond deliberately crashing into James May ... just isn't funny anymore (especially when the gtv was pretty much imaculate beforehand)

I've got to agree.

They didn't talk about why Alfas have got soul or passion, or why Alfa owners don't mind the odd niggles every now and then. They simply took them to a track, then to a car show. They could have done that with any car.

I felt really sorry for James May his P1 was immaculate before the other 'tards got hold of it.

I don't think it did anything for us at all, and was disappointed.

Sorry chap - perhaps I have more passion and love for Alfa - than to think getting cheap crass laughs at the expense of us...And delibratley wrecking cars

Was there really need to keep running into the GTV??

Was there really the need to smear cheese all over it?

Was there really the need to deliberatly crash the 75 into the back of the GTV on the track....or try towing the 75 along the ground to scrape it down one side before righting it?? why didn't they right the car??

Oh that would have been easy and wouldn't have made for good telly - much better to drag it FFS

That show last night was put on to ridicule Alfa's and Alfa drivers.....

Please explain what were the benefits to us as Alfa drivers that came from the show??

How did it put the cars in a positive light - with all the quips about how rubbish the cars were??

The show was pants...an absolute disgrace!!

i was proud last night.

i was fighting off the tears at the end - anyone who takes offence at a £450 75 and being lapped by track prep'd porsche's has some strange issues.

in the end they said ANY old, dying alfa is a better petrolhead car than ANY other - what more praise do you people need.

be proud folks

IMO they just made Alfa Owners sound like a bunch of idiots who enjoy driving broken rusty old cars, cant be doing much for the second hand values either, very very bad publicity.

Sorry AF - some of us have had more than just a passing fad with Alfa's

So don't quite appreciate exactly what TG did....basially as Ray said....they wanted to make us look stupid.
