Toasters!

Why do manufacturers make toasters which only toast one side at a time these days?

Surely the majority of people want their toast done on both sides! When did someone decide that we should only have it done one side and have to turn it over if we want the other side done.

When I bought my toaster, this wasnt one of the things they mentioned and obviously now it's too late to take it back and annoying as it is, seems bit wasteful to buy another one which does it both sides at once, if such a thing is still available

Re: Toasters!

its a breville tt28 apparently, even on the breville website it doesnt mention the fact that you can only do one side at a time. crafty little tinkers.

I wondered whether it had some italian electrics in it perhaps!

Re: Toasters!

i never seen a one side toaster either - but i prefer 1 sided toast so maybe we could do a deal

you could always split the slice in half and put it in side by side then re-attach

*taking care to put the toasted pieces to the outside *
