If bands like Sigur Ros and Explosions in the Sky are "Post Rock"....what's "Pre-Rock"??

Kings of Leon are an amazing band, I saw them at Reading Festival Main Stage!

One of the best bands all weekend

I find most modern rock/indie bands a pile of s**t (The Kooks, The Fratellis and those fat ponces that I cannot remember the name of who sing 'I predict a riot' etc etc) but the Kings Of Leon carry on the rock tradition in style. A very cool band. Not as keen on the recent album as I was on 'Youth...' and 'Aha....' which go down as two of my favourtie albums of all time.

Re: Musical genres

There are certainly some fine moments on the album 'Charmer' is definitely one but also ' Knocked Up' is an amazing track. 'On Call' is one of their best yet and 'Fans' and 'Camaro' are great as well. Did I say I wasn't as keen on this album? I think you can forget what I said there!!

Sorry about the 'Kings Of Leon' thread hijack here Corbo
