Re: In need of advice
Do the Rolex's have sentimental value? If not, seriously consider selling at least one of them to a genuine dealer
I have several watches to fall back on should the need arise but I'd never sell my Dad's or Grandfather's vintage Omega's
What about medical testing or selling a kidney. I'm being serious. Very lucrative and you only need the one:eek;

Re: In need of advice
Medical testing can be lucrative but don't think you could get into that at the notice required and make it fit with your job. One of my neighbours does this and loves it. He goes for a few weeks on a trial, is supplied with everything then gets a lump sum when trial is finished. When he's there he cuts right back on his bills and cancels things as he's not at home. Not for everyone but he likes it.
Also, what skills do you have - everyone can do something! Surely there's something you can do to raise money by working in your local area? I have done various things before when I was younger such as car washing, grass cutting etc. Just knocked doors and asked.

The Rolex thing was a sarcastic response to SLB, obviously if I did have any, they would go!
I may have found something anyway. My mate has a grass cutting round that nets him over £100 a weekend which he is considering giving up in favour of a 'proper job' - Have to wait and see on that one, so keep the ideas coming!
Thanks again all!

Re: In need of advice
Well, good news! My mate is giving up his grass cutting round in a couple of weeks, in favour of a new job.
He's going to take me round to show me the route and then he's handing the reins over to me!
That'll be approx £120 per week and it's only a Saturday job.
Well chuffed

Re: In need of advice
Find some scrap metal / cars you can weigh in at the scrap yard. Its about £150 a tonne for light iron at the moment and its more for heavier stuff or aluminium and copper. One car a month would easily get you the £100 you need

Re: In need of advice
I will have hopefully paid off a fair amount of what I need to, so that shouldn't be a problem. Also, I only need an extra £100 per month, and I'll be getting 4x that. Anything I earn will go into my 'Bills' account, and stay there.
Next year, anything I earn will be mine.

Re: In need of advice
If you want it, but you don't NEED it then unsubscribe from it or sell it.
Sounds like you need to take stock of things because you're putting a whole heap of pressure on yourself trying to sustain your lifestyle.
