You on the forum there?
Yeah limited it is. 200 units I think. I bought mine "second hand" ( ) as they were all sold when I found out about them.

I used to visit that forum quite regularly but as with everything things change and I've not been there for a bit.

My big bro not only has a Mk1 but Eddies "Beater" (with the pair of Bow Locks looking egg whisk on the face!), a Mk2 and a chronometer thingy as well as a couple of Rusky Pioljots, or whatever they are called.

Must slip back there one day. Last time I was there was just before the Dreadnought (sp?) was released.

I only wear the Mk 1 on special occassions, Lodge meetings etc, But I do have a very nice pair of Electric Seiko "tanks". The 4004 series. One in S/Steel and one in Gold (plate).

Being also into guitars whenever I see a PRS I immediatley think of Paul Reed-Smith!

I HOPE WE GET AWAY WITH THIS!

Lodge meetings etc
Have to say that's something that's never interested me - my old man was one - quite senior in the region (if that's the right term), although buggered if I can recall his title - involved lots of grands and provincials from what I recall. Do often wonder if I'd have got access to a whole world of cheap bars if I had gone for it...

For dress-type things I normally wear a 60s mechanical Omega, although these days I don't really think the whole concept of a dress watch makes much sense.

The Dreadnought looks like a real tool watch - joined there just after it came out. My sparrow wrists wouldn't really suit a watch like that, but all credit to Eddie for making a genuinely useful, high-end watch.

Baume et Mercier Hampton GMT for me, this weekend.

Agree with the post about vintage Omegas - I also like some of the newer ones but their marketing is a little manic.

Re: Another Watch Thread

It's new to me, but not brand new. I've got a Stowa Marine Original on order as a wedding present to myself - expecting it early September - last watch for a while as I don't think getting any more will be well received.
