For the Man U fans...
A Primary Teacher explains to her class that she is a Liverpool fan.
She Asks her students to raise their hands if they too, are Liverpool fans.
Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl.
The teacher Looks at the girl with surprise and says, 'Mary, why didn't you
raise your Hand?'
'Because I'm not a Liverpool fan,' she replied.
The teacher, still shocked, asked, 'Well, if you are not an Liverpool fan, then who are you a fan of?'
'I am a Man Utd fan, and proud of it,' Mary replied.
The teacher could not believe her ears. 'Mary, why, pray tell, are you a Man Utd fan?'
'Because my mum is a Man Utd fan, and my dad is a Man Utd fan, so I'm a Man Utd fan too!'
'Well,' said the teacher in an obviously annoyed tone, 'that is no reason for you to be a Man Utd fan.
You don't have to be just like your parents all Of the time.
What if your mum was a prostitute and your dad was a drug Addict, what would
you be then?'
'Then,' Mary smiled, 'I'd be a Liverpool fan.'

Re: For the Man U fans...
Martin Jol was their best manager by far....so what did the board do - bring in some techy director to overule his authority in transfers and team selection
Always destined to be never was also rans....

Re: For the Man U fans...
I really don't know why Spurs perenially under achieve, well certainly in recent years, they have had some really great players going through the club.... living in the shadow of Arsenal basically leaving us behind hasn't really helped. Berbatov will leave soon prob to Man U (espacially if they lose Ronaldo to spain). As much as i admire Alan Sugar i believe some of the rot started in his era....... Definately top six finish next season though, and we should really start having some good showings in the cups, that used to be are forte..

Re: For the Man U fans...
But GT you were just several rolls of bog roll short of clinching champions league football 2 years ago...how the board treated the manager that got them there was downright shocking....Ramos will be under huge pressure next year - And they will sack him probably after 10 games if they are below Arsenal in the league - such is the idoiocy of the Board.
You can not undermine the manager or its game over...you only have to look at what happened with Sven - improved home form - started to get results...then had a blip - then sinatra stated questioning whether sven was the man for the job.... this in his first season...getting them up as far as anyone has in recent time....no wonder they just died a death in the last 2 months - the players wont put it out if they feel their is regime change on the way...

Re: For the Man U fans...
Your right boards are to trigger happy, i know its a cliche but back in the day Sir Alex lost his first few matches Man u finsished 11th but they stuck with him and the rest is history...... now like most stuff in life it has to happen straight away or its onto the next one..... the pressure to stay in the prem is emmence and Martin Jol unfortunatly had Spurs looking perilous......... but he should of stayed as they would of picked it up again. Also i hate it when a manager gets sacked because team is doing rubbish, then when new manager comes in the players suddenly get results!! wow that managers a genius........well no 9 times out of 10 its because the players suddenly start playing properly to 'impress' new manger and get results etc etc......few months later back to playing rubbish football................. mentioning no names.....BOLTON.......... also find players celebrating like they jsut won the League because they avioded relegation like Fulham crazy, i mean what have they got to celebrate really, that over a course of whole season they stay in the prem because of one result, where were they for the last 25 odd games.......

Re: For the Man U fans...
On a serious note, Sperm Clinics in the Cheetham Hill, Clayton and Crumpshall areas are concerned that there may be a serious shortage as they anticipate nearly 20,000 of their keenest donors go to Moscow next week.
P.S. For Utd fans, Cheetham Hill, Clayton and Crupshall are all well known areas in Manchester.
