Hmmm My Fellow Koi Keepers

Any ideas on where to get a 'Koi Tunnel' in the UK

As the dam electric fence has packed up my little chums are lacking cover at the moment - until the lillys and weed grow a bit more - and are a bit vulnerable to the fecking Heron at the moment so I'm looking to provide them with some !! (We've lost enough fish to that fecker already so I'm determined not to let it get anymore !! )

I've got some ideas for DIY stylee tunnels but would prefer to buy a purpose built one really !!

Any help or linkys would be greatly appreciated

Cheers AF

I've only managed to find one purpose built at the moment but in was in the States !!

The pond is protected by fishing wire strung between the electric fence posts BTW but the little chaps are showing signs of being a bit stressed !!

Re: My Fellow Koi Keepers

Buy a 'fake' Heron and put it next to the pond, worked for me. They are territorial and won't go near the pond if another heron is there.

Re: My Fellow Koi Keepers

I'll sort another fence but it's a tunnel I really want to find as there'll be no cover for them again in the winter months !!

Re: My Fellow Koi Keepers

You do talk carp don't you.

You could always ask Mikey if you could keep them in his swimming pool.. I'm sure he has excellent security handed down from his experiences in the "special" forces

Re: My Fellow Koi Keepers

Perhaps I could be of assistance... what you need are some of these - and I just happen to know who's got some ... just one thing - how big did you say your ocean is

You can pay me in fish..... 10/15 Koi ought to be ample to cover
