So it would seem. Mrs C told me last night that it was ******ing it down (at home in NE England) and that they were saying localised flooding today! And here's me wanting to go home
Suppose home is where the heart is, as opposed to where the sun is, but then again...
Send you a Spider? bit big to ship.
I'll be sure and bring the sun, we did without it all winter/winter-spring/ but now that summer is finally here we've had almost 2 weeks of . we were all wet before.
nah, I'm sure it'll fit quite nicely into a packing crate....go on, I now you have more than you need....
2 weeks, now I'm all jealous!
See good suggestion, deserves a reward, 1 little spider would suffice...
better of staying put then mate! Am considering looking a one of those amphibious car things...
Nice idea! Reminds me of a car my Dad once bought. We had several military vehicles when I was a lad (Dad was a proper pertrol head - he's now 72 and has had 172 cars ). Anyway - he had bought a kubelwagen which we'd renovated and then bougt a Schwimmwagen which was the amphibious version of the Kubel. The Schwimm had suffered from that famous WWII problem - i.e. it had been shot at and bullet holes and amphibious vehicles really dont mix . Just as well we tested it (by basically filling it with water) before we tried floating her
Dead right we never knew one day to the next what he'd come home in. He even had a Jag SS100 which he sold for £400 when my mother couldnt get her bump (with my eldest brother) under the dash! Saw one fo for £250,000 last year
He had an Alfa Spider (70's model) that was knackered and sat in a lock up for years. I was able to drive at the time but had no interest in it . God how I wish I could turn the clock back
