I find my husband cleans the engine up better - no effort on my part, just need to buy him some Stellas!

Plus he doesn't trust me with the engine!

Or gears for that matter . . . !

Usually involves a steam clean and a day away from you...

Mine is a diesel, never going to look super, so I make it look really good and clean it every 4 weeks.

ok will do...is gunk like an engine de-greaser formula?? i got given this solution that you add water too and it cuts thru all grease etc etc

I have seen engines and know of engines cleaned with steam, if it is done right it should be OK, but, I am not a voice of experience so someone else might be better to ask on that...

I use "Mr. Muscle" on my engine. I am not joking, I really do, works a treat
