have to say I wouldn't choose Iceland. I used to go up that way in the early '70s and a bigger bunch of misery gut long faces I'd never seen!! 'Course that might have had something to do with the fact that Brits weren't terribly welcome (We used to help ourselves to Cod and they had long memories of the War - they preferred Germany you see?).
Cost of living is enormous, too. Any idea the cost of a pint??

Oh, and BTW it's dark all Winter and light all Summer.

South west france, but Yorkshire (be there at the end of feb) the wide open space good food and friendly poeple great. Look out for a manx reg black skoda fabia around Carlton-horse head area.

Iceland has a certain basic appeal, looking at the pictures. What then, when you tire of boobies(tropical birds) bobbing about, with old volcanic geysers? I'm shrivelled as it without being immersed for lengthy periods.:

Hi somewhere in the Greek Isles most likely it would have to be Corfu. It,s the best of both worlds it,s like England but with the laid back out of the rat race life style.

New Zealand, its beautiful ,unspoiled, only got about 4 million people living there, and far enough away from all the pushing, rushing, no space, no time, dog eat dog, taxed to death world we live in here.
