Re: Kids' names!!!
Oh FFS
At some point in the past 20 years, it seems as though parents abruptly decided to switch from names like Michelle and Jimmy to names like Madison and Hunter.
Now that is a stupid name !!

Re: Kids' names!!!
Don't listen Gibbo - Giulia would be a lovely name.
Baby Name Julie - Origin and Meaning of Julie
Taken from above.....
The girl's name Julie \j(u)-lie\ is pronounced JOO-lee, ZHOO-lee. It is of French origin. Diminutive of Julia (Latin) "youthful; Jove's child". Imported from France in the 1920s.
Julie has 9 variant forms: Jooley, Joolie, Julee, Juley, Julienne, Jullee, Jullie, July and Jully.
For more information, see also related names Juliana, Julissa and Giulia.
I don't have a problem with kid being named after things - how do you think we ended up with the names we have? They've just been distorted over the years.

Re: Kids' names!!!
Mr and Mrs Wall and their son Van, Mr and Mrs Power and their lovely daughter Max(ine).
Some kinda work, some work rather well (see Guilia above), some don't at all.
For pure cheese try, Mr and Mrs Feta and their fragrant son Alf.
Of course rather than buying an expensive personalised number plate I changed my name by deed pole to Mr XRF 325M.
Scott.

Reason: added more cheese to the mix.

Re: Kids' names!!!
Lets be honest here, i think those poor kids are either going to grow up resenting their parent's limited intelligence and forethought or they will sadly be proud of their names and go on to name their kids Mac truck, Peterbilt and Studebaker or macdonalds, KFC and Burger King ...the choices are limitless....
