Re: Mac or PC
I think it's fair to say you took from the blog what you wanted and left behind a whole lof of other stuff that in context tells a bit of a different story.
History of the Graphical User Interface (GUI) « Technical Conclusions
Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

I did offer the website address to you in a previous post, there is also a book on the history of the user interface.

No I didn't go down the MIDI Synth route But a few of my friends did and I had to listen to the trash they produced! I started life on a Commodore Vic 20, then on to a Spectrum and then to an Atari 1040 STE - I thought it was so cool But secretly I craved an Amiga!

Re: Mac or PC
Mind you I had to keep the Amiga craving a secret - or my Dad would have killed me! Can't even begin to think of the amount of £££ he spent on computers for me! He also got me my first Apple - so I guess he is to blame for my addiction!

I bugged my dad into buying me an Amiga 500 because
"It will help me with my homework"

You forgot the spoddy BBCs.
Acorn, now they really have been innovative
and are in more products today than the
likes of MS and Apple can but dream about :
(Apple do get a mention )
ARM Milestones

Had an Oric Atmos and a BBC myself! The BBC was ****** awesome back in 1982!! Proper disc drives and a hi-res colour monitor. 6502 assembler programming ... now that's spoddy!
