Alfa wave

Had my first Alfa wave today..by the new pool in Cardiff bay.Black 159..anyone on here?

Never used to get that in my TT!! From audi drivers obviously?!!

Don't see many Alfa's around here...due to the lack of Cardiff dealer maybe?

Anyway I'm really enjoying this car!

Cheers

Re: Alfa wave

Never had a wave off anybody in an Alfa - although to be fair most of teh ones I see are old 156 or 147 which tend to be bought as just cars and not by enthusiasts

Used to get loads of waves from people with lotus - be suprised how many you can find around south wales now.

Might be right there, I still wave to Alfa's when I'm driving the van, wondering why they're looking at me funny !

Worse still, is the amount of people who recognise the van and wave to me !!! I don't know who half these people are.

Waving to women with their boyfriends in tow is a favourite of mine.

Another is waving to old ladies at bus stops. look back to see the puzzled faces

Just wait until they start to follow you.

Re: Alfa wave

I only got a few polite but confused waves back when I had my 156,

I have not yet seen another Coop though so cannot yet comment on The Coupe Wave. I imagine I'll get a better response of a Coupe driver though, the later modeled Alfa's tend to be driven by people who don't necessarily recognize a fellow Alfa. Apart from us lot, but we are special,

The amount of blank looks I'd receive from the women driving a 147 I'd just flashed when I had my 156

Re: Alfa wave

hey Midlife, You're back! Wondered what had happened to you as I haven't seen you round town and you've been quiet on the forum. I thought for one minute you might have sold up and bought a Citroen or something. Seen the black Brera once. There's also a nice red GTV around but my missus isn't happy with me giving the Alfa Wave as it's always driven by a rather attractive blonde

Re: Alfa wave

Cookie i thought the sameabout you. Anyway that black brera is often parked on walters road and ive seen it driven around town and the morriston area. Have'nt seen the red GTV but i have seen another red facelift like mine with ROY on the number plate. Tell you what i have seen is a GT Blackline around the uplands area.

What colour GT is yours? Drove past a very shiny red GT a few weeks back past the leasure centre (swansea) and the driver waved. I did beep the horn but only after id just gone past.

Was it you?
