If your from South Wales, there is no such thing as North Wales
To be fair the guys down south have sorted themselves out, and are lucky to have a few Alfisti in their area.
I have tought about having my own meeting, all the local Alfisti getting together in my local Phone box
I wanted to get down to one of their meets, but its a hundred miles from here to the pub they meet at, shame 'cos they seem a good bunch

Re: meets

i was thinking not much further than Welshpool or Dolgellau, what do you think to that. if we went for somewhere near Welshpool then we might get some from Birmingham way. to be honest we don't here much from north wales so i hope there's some alfisti up there

Thats the real problem, there aren't many Alfisti up here, Which is why I could have a meeting in a phone box, Don't tie it down too much and see how much interest is about.

4 hours ? what you riding a snail. Are you sure it's going to take 4 hrs? i've worked it out to be about 80 miles with an average of 40 mph, thats 2 hours, what do you suggest then?

Re: meets

Ive driven from colwyn bay to cardiff in about 4 hours and that was in a transit style van, it shouldn't as ady says it shouldnt take more than two. Also think there are some pretty nice roads on the way.

your the boss , you decide, just remember that tcm needs a bit of notice,we can't keep calling him tcm, i wonder his real name is ,i'm sure he'll tell us when he's ready . I was thinking not this weekend but the next, if all four of us are up for that then we'll go for that , then we can try and add a few more people to it.

Hi! Tom, 21st is good for me see what other people think first, iv'e pm,ed a few people got a few more to pm, yeah posting in the midlands sec is a good idea,oh and Gary i can't do Colwyn bay as it's just to far from Cardigan, that's most of the length of wales for me, so that would be a no go.

Re: meets

Welshpool sounds feasible to me. Will have to let you know nearer the date.

Just don't tell the NW lot. I've already sold out the Midlands to go to their last meet! They're a bit sensitive. Particularly that Happyman!
