A few regions have this type of thread in their lounges, so I thought I'd put one up for North Wales.
So post up who you use, would recommend or who to avoid with a 10ft barge pole!

They powder coated by alloy wheels last year and did a good job. They are also recommended tyre fitters for Blackcircles.com

I can highly recommend Allitalia. Since I bought my 156 in 2008 they've done the Cambelt (which included Variator, Water Pump), Full Service. Which included Plugs, Filters, Oil etc.
Rear Wheel bearing and Front top arm.

They know there stuff and always give me good customer service.

Only dents, no spraying. Based in Anglesey but travels around North Wales to your home or workplace.

Did good job on my GT door.

Do you know if he'd come to Wrexham? There is a small dent in the roof of the GTV which is bugging me and I've been waiting for a recommendation for a good 'dent' man.

Do you mind me asking how much he charged?

Hi Rich, I believe he travels far and wide as he does a lot work for various car dealers.

I had 2 small dents in the drivers door and charged £45. (I think he quoted £35 for one.) Give him a call.

I'm in the area next week - and me being the pessimist was just wondering if there were any more recommendations nr Conwy etc.?

If you get stuck in the Conwy area I can recommend Richmond Garage in Colwyn Bay - 01492532459 - run by an ex-Mercedes mechanic so I have only had run of the mill stuff done but always good and well priced, his son does body work and I have been very impressed with the paint work!

Also AutoHaus in Mochdre nr Colwyn Bay also very helpful when we took the BMW in - did see a GTV in the workshop.

Like many, I only let Allitalia do the Main Alfa work

how much did they charge for powder coating been to AllItalia to find out where they were forgot to ask do they do a run a round car if yours is in for a while

It was a while ago now but think it was about £45 a wheel (not including tyre fitting). They normally have prices on their website.

Not sure about the courtesy car, we only live a few miles away so have never needed one.

AllItalia did my cambelt/aux belt/waterpump/thermostat recently very impressed and for around £540 (ish off top of my head)

ALLITALIA nust say impressed went up to get diagnostic and they fixed my bonet latch at the same time with no extra charge
