Who's up for driving the EVO triangle and some other fine roads in North Wales

It's being done on the friday to help make sure that the roads are clearer than they would be at the weekend

Meeting at Chester at 10.00am - Meet Point to be advised.

Then off on a tour of some of the finest roads North Wales has to offer including the fabled EVO triangle.

The route will take around 4 hours and we will be stopping for lunch along the way.

For those with sat-nav: I will be providing itinerary files of the route, so if you can PM me with your e-mail address and sat-nav type I'll send you the file,
I can do TomTom, Garmin and Navman

This event is being organised by JonSpiderMan from AOSW

UPDATE

Whilst we're on the subject of Itineraries...

If anyone else needs the route file for your Sat-Nav please PM with your e-mail and what Sat-Nav you have and I'll send it to you (TomTom / Garmin / Navman). The more people that have the route programmed in the better

ETA

I will be bringing my laptop on the day if anyone needs it loaded as well

Is this thread about driving or is it about shoes?

OK I'm a definate now
But........Its a 250 mile round trip for me (even before doing the run) and I'm at a TVR meet down south on Saturday. I really want to bring the Alfa but dont think its practical so I'll be in the Griff.
Hope nobody minds?

Re: The North Wales Run - AO does the EVO Triangle

swanny i could think of a few worse cars to turn up in than a tvr, they seem to be pretty highly thought of here so i wouldn't worry

no idea what my mileage will be (i have a sony satnav - looks good but is useless in every other respect) but chester is about 55 miles away, beyond chester i'm hoping the longer the better as it's just driving nirvana out there

roswell as i said you're more than welcome to stay at mine thurs & fri nights but i can't do a friday night out unfortunately - driving a couple of friends to the airport late on so no drinkies could have a few slurps on thurs night though

it's a nav-u50, great screen quality & sound etc as you'd expect from sony but painfully lacking in functionality
