Who's up for driving the EVO triangle and some other fine roads in North Wales

It's being done on the friday to help make sure that the roads are clearer than they would be at the weekend

Meeting at Chester at 10.00am - Meet Point to be advised.

Then off on a tour of some of the finest roads North Wales has to offer including the fabled EVO triangle.

The route will take around 4 hours and we will be stopping for lunch along the way.

For those with sat-nav: I will be providing itinerary files of the route, so if you can PM me with your e-mail address and sat-nav type I'll send you the file,
I can do TomTom, Garmin and Navman

Re: The North Wales Run - AO does the EVO Triangle

This is a great idea. I just wish I could do it.

Friday makes sense but I think I'd struggle to make the time. I'm committed holiday-wise.

Still, I do know an adhesives supplier in Flint that wants our business.....maybe I could "plan" to go visit them that day?

Re: The North Wales Run - AO does the EVO Triangle

I've never quite worked out where the Evo triangle was
I assume it's the triangle shape on the map
I'm deffo in as long as it's not raining too much, my mistress doesn't like getting her feet wet
Must warn you the teenager will be with me as I'm on school holiday duty
Mind you if my wife was with me then I wouldn't be able to drive fast

I've been doing that run for years and found the best way is M40 - M42 - M6 - M54 - A41 straight to Chester. Give yourself about 2 1/2hrs from Warwick services.
I find the A41 a nice change from the motorway, it's direct and good scenery. I don't like the M54 - A5 route as too many roundabouts.

Hope this helps
