Who's up for driving the EVO triangle and some other fine roads in North Wales

It's being done on the friday to help make sure that the roads are clearer than they would be at the weekend

Meeting at Chester at 10.00am - Meet Point to be advised.

Then off on a tour of some of the finest roads North Wales has to offer including the fabled EVO triangle.

The route will take around 4 hours and we will be stopping for lunch along the way.

For those with sat-nav: I will be providing itinerary files of the route, so if you can PM me with your e-mail address and sat-nav type I'll send you the file,
I can do TomTom, Garmin and Navman

This event is being organised by JonSpiderMan from AOSW

Re: The North Wales Run - AO does the EVO Triangle

drove some of those roads on the way back from west wales on saturday - absolutely unbelievable the scenery, the lack of traffic and the quality of the road surfaces are effing incredible. anyone caught in two minds about coming along - just DO IT, you'd be mad not to experience those roads

Re: The North Wales Run - AO does the EVO Triangle

Nice one Cunn21 and Baby, Fancy convoying up from the south (via the M6 toll of course)

AR145 hope you can make it as well mate, I'll talk to you about it at Goodwood

I'm thinking meet Oxford Services off the M40 Thursday evening. Then find a reasonably priced place to stay in Chester (travel inn or similar) and go out for a beer or two.

Just got that week booked off work

Any more takers?

Yeah that's fine Swanny you're welcome to bring the Griff (got a soft spot for them anyway - they're as mad as a sack of kittens )

And I promise not to joke about it too much - if you take me round the triangle in it that is!

The cheaper the better for me really especially the amount I'll be spending on motion lotion over those couple days

Re: The North Wales Run - AO does the EVO Triangle

hmm tempted ....

maybe in some pork - we shall see, driven them in the panda - OMG that was a hoot and a half... except for all the camping gear in the back - love it up there - just wacth out for pigs that fly...

Could do an overnight depends if you can get any rooms at that time of year - spetember would be really good for it...

SImes.

Can do if you want mate, just thought as we are coming from different ends of the M25 and heading for the M40 it would make sense to meet there

What sort of budget are you guys looking at for hotels per night, as I'm starting to look for accomodation? , been having a look at travelodge and travel inn and they're around the £55-60 a night mark, but I did find a holiday inn west of chester, which would also be a good starting off point for the run which is £42 a night.
