Hello AOWN from AOWS

Hello fellow welsh AO members.

I am (as you can see from my name) the AOWS Representative and I am just wondering if anyone from North Wales fancies having a meet with us 'Taffia' somewhere in mid to North Wales?

There are quite a few nice roads within our fair country and I am sure we could plan a route that would suit all drivers and all cars.

If a pub is involved all the better

I realise there is no AOWN Representative as of yet, but, this does not me we can't have join region meets.

Anyone interested?

Did'nt realise you are a gog! From whereabouts al? The roads are sublime and empty!! This had the potential to be a big meet!

born in bangor, raised in trearddur bay & holyhead (horrorhead ) til i was 18. got released and went to live in manchester, then liverpool, than back to manchester again. yep i'm definitely up for a meet with you lot, think i need to get my max boyce records out in practice

A proper gog then! Where do you reckon is halfway point in Wales. I mentioned Rhayader as a possibilty. What you reckon?

midway is probably newtown way somewhere? dunno really, for a welshman i'm embarrassingly un-travelled in my home country outside of liverpool-on-sea (aka the north wales coast). been to cardiff plenty of times but remember very little as it was usually to see my brother at uni and hence i would've been completely ratarsed for the duration of every visit. but i do remember some unbelievably good roads from snowdonia, past trawsfynydd, down toward newtown and into the wye valley. petrolhead paradise

wonder if we might get some of the west midlands AO-ers over? i'm sure there's a few from shrewsbury etc who are probably more local than us taffs/gogs

How can you be so jolly after today's Test against the 'Boks.
I know Al prefers the lure of the round ball, due to his residence in the Nation's Football Capital (before he moved to Manchester), but hit by a double whammy today, beaten at Rygbi and got a leaky V6!!

If alls well in Alfa land, would be up for a jaunt around the homeland, all be it the Northern(ish) end.
