My 166 3L 24v Sportronic for sale

My 2000 166 Aurora pearlescent 3L 24V Sportronic is now for sale. I've found a replacement vehicle and am looking to sell the Alfa ASAP.

Just over 125,000 km, Green leather interior, 17" alloy wheels, pretty much everything works (except for the central locking on the right rear door), fuel gauge works when it feels like it but the trip computer MPG etc is spot on, Xenon headlights, 6disc CD changer, phone (controlled through the ICS), cruise, aircon, electric seats, sunroof, folding mirrors - practically every toy available except satnav.

Recent front brake pads, two tyres replaced last week, other servicing all on schedule. It has the usual selection of bumps and scrapes that you'd expect on a 10 year old UAE car. Road safety test due in april.

For a quick sale, I'm asking AED 15,000 - which is quite a lot less than I paid last year for it. If you're interested, please PM or contact rmoss@horizonacademy.ae

Richard, sad to see you sell her....please tell me the replacement isn't an Audi....

Would love to haul that motor out and shove it in my 155....

Don't worry - I am planning to avoid German cars forever! The planned replacement is a Chevrolet Lumina Coupe 3.8l - or Holden Monaro /Vauxhall Monaro if in Oz or the UK. I will just feel so much more comfortable if I have a dealer in town.

Rich, good luck with the Lumina, not an Alfa but a decnt ride. I have a Chev Silverado 2001 and although parts are getting harder to find, they are still about ...easier than Alfa anyway.

I would make an offer on the engine, but it is a complex job to get it in the 155, although the same platform, the biggest problem is the location of the radiator hoses and water channels....very difficult to match them up..
