Welcome all members from the United Arab Emirates region
Hello and welcome to AO,
We are all extremely pleased to have you here; it's also a great opportunity for us to host your lounge here on AO. If there is anything that you need or are unhappy with, please consult Stephen Manjai, who is your lounge Regional Representative, we are of course supporting Stephen directly so please liaise with him. We feel there are enough event tools in here for you at present to enable you all to help grow your region and AO will back all growth with further development.
I really hope you enjoy the site and we look forward to reading and viewing some of your events.
Best regards,
Ian Bowles
AO Group Director

Hey there and welcome...
Fortunately for us, you can buy used Alfas here at really good prices. that is exactly why you should also be very careful as once the first owner sells the car, it might end up being neglected.
So just make sure you always buy from a private seller and allow time to find the right one.
maintaining them you have 2 options. 1- Dealer = parts and labour are expensive but they have a nice workshop. 2- Do what most of us do, order parts from the UK and take it to our trusty specialits, Hussein :-)
Good Luck

Seeing as you drive a GS430, then i guess the equivalent Alfa sizewise would be a 166.. give Hussein a shout on 050 585 2304, there are two Alfa 166's on sale at the Abdulla Ahli Garage in Al Qusais, i don't know about Gargash, but when i was there last week they did not have any 166's on sale..
will look around and let you know..

Re: Welcome all members from the United Arab Emirates region
Guys,
I am newbie in this part of the world, moving from the UK in early Jan. I have a 3.2Q4 Qtronic 159 in Alfa Red (former Gargash demonstrator) and this is my sixth Alfa (had 2 x 156s, a GT, a 166 facelift and a 159 sportwagon).
Looking forward to meeting you all.
Cheers

Hey bro, will you be creating an event on AO for the drive?
I reckon the meet should be outside gargash as there is more space and everyone can find it easy. Some pre-drive pics can also be taken there :-)

Re: Welcome all members from the United Arab Emirates region
Stephen,
I have seen a couple of very tidy Alfas this week in Mirdiff on 78Str - a lovely 3.2V6 GT and then tonight a gorgeous 3.0V6 166 in Dark Blue.......(either Cosmos or Moon Blue).
Do we know who they are?
Rgds

Nice car man... especially if you get the 2009 ones cos they have the paddles and the metal plate in the headrest with Brera written on it, looks cooler than the normal ones...
p.s. there's a nice blue 2009 one at Gargash, that looks really good.
Let us know what you decide..
