156 mod the internal switches!?

Im in the process of moving the majority of my interior buttons around, some people may like them as they are, but for my they are lumpy, ugly and in the way.

like the wing mirror buttons, f & r fogs which i am relocating and the drivers door panel (that big daft window locking button is outrageous) not to mention the annoying click from activating the windows.

my plan is to grab the wing mirror control and the fogs and stick them in the revolving ashtray space, nice tidy and out the way.

im molding a new drivers arm rest over the hols and changing the window buttons to a new sleek looking design.

has anyone tried this or am i just too silly to change the minor things?
