alfa 147

Amp installation wires where to put them ?

Has anyone fitted and amp an sub on an alfa 147 I stripped my whole dash and cant find anywhere to get the power wire through to the engine bay without drilling a whole

@ alfag: i figure your car is RHD, like here in australia.

if i also presume your 147 is similar to my GT and previous 156 (which were both similar in firewall holes), there is an unused grommet at the base of the windscreen on the left side (of car) under the black plastic shroud.

under black plastic shroud ?? do u mean the bit that bolts under the windscreen wipers???

yes, the black plastic covers that are held by screws, and cover around the windscreen wipers at the base of the windscreen.

thanks for reply shiny_car im gona finish my installation tomorrow morning .So that unsused grommet should lead directly to behind the glovebox where the climate control compressor is ?? also you seem quite knowledgeable with car audion installations I just posted another help thred any chance you could give me some advice on that cheers alfag

you'll need a torch and a neck that twists your head 360 degrees but you should be able to feed the powerwire through there after cutting a hole, and sliding it through. in my pics, you can see i used a small drill bit first, to ensure the hole led into the cabin somewhere 'suitable'.

dont need any holes i have a amp wiring kit i didnt do it myself but honestly go to ice guy Brian Car Sounds Security i highly recomend he can fitt and tune up ur sounds for 40 i think he is in sutton surrey

let us no what happeneds
