anyone got any v6 mod pics?

I've just aquired a V6 air intake for my 156, but the new pipe and old pipe are completely different shapes... Has anyone else done this mod and have any good suggestions? I'm thinking of using flexi hosing - is there a better way, or do I need to cut the pipe to fit?

Re: anyone got any v6 mod pics?

There are 2 types of V6 intake, the one you really want is the GTA version which is larger and has smoother bends in it. I am not sure you would notice much difference between them though. I have a GTA intake on my TS and the differerence is very small. The car feels like the throttle response is better at higher revs but the intake noise is the same as with the resonator fitted.

Re: anyone got any v6 mod pics?

i used a cut down V6 pipe to direct the air right up & into the bmc/cda airbox.

along the same lines as the angel setup although it is hidden behind the lower grill.

some people have had the opinion that this risks water induction, however i have recently gone through quite high standing water at speed and there have been no such issues. phew
