convert 156 q-system to 6 speed?

Hi,

Would it be a massive job to swap a six speed gearbox from a 166 / 156 / GTV into a 156 2.5 q system auto? Would it just fit straight in?

What should a six speed gearbox be worth?

Have wondered the same thing as manual V6 156 is very rare here - engine ECU is also different but I'm not sure about engine wiring etc

It would be a total nightmare.

Yeah all the electronics would be different - easier and less of a headache to find a manual one.

I'm not going to argue and say it'd be easy ...but what electronics are required for a manual gearbox? I'd have thought converting to auto would be more of a problem re electronics...?
