Re: tips please?

same as any other car really, sports exhaust system+ CDA+ remap is where the economical tuning is, any power after that costs a fair bit to get but autodelta will turbo or supercharge the 2.0 for around £3K if you wanna go that far, most people dont.

suspension wise, bilstein shocks with H+R 35mm lowering springs seems to be the most reccomended set up, and quite economical. again if you wanna push the boat out a brace and retro fitted Q2 diff have been recommended.

interior modifying is exactly the same as any other car, a common upgrade is a dennison ipod connector for the standard headunit.

all really depends on budget and willingness to have the car off the road getting work carried out.

2.0 TS, custom hand stitched leather and alacantra interior, custom SS system, H+R suspension upgrade

Re: tips please?

K&N panel filter, (Not too oily though) Brazilian intake pipe, sports exhaust, and squadra chip (if car is an earlier ally topped engine) or remap if car is a later plastic topped car.

Columbo and bariani cams are also a good option, EB spares sell them for £500 and they usually add about 15-20bhp, but you need to get the car custom mapped afterwards for best effect.

Re: tips please?

absolutely. Talk to red dot in Watford. See what they can do.

Red Dot Racing -- Braking Products OBD tuning Rolling Road - Speak to augusto.

Also if you are a medio or premio member of our club then you get a further 10% off mapping. (and 40% off brakes)

have a look here .: Squadra Tuning :.

You will need to check if your car is a Bosch motronic M2.10.3 or a M2.10.4 version of the engine management system as 1997 was around the time they changed over. The 2 chips are not compatible, there is a number on the ECU and from this code you can tell which ECU you have. I am pretty sure the squadra website will tell you which one you need.
