ALFA ROMEO 156 - 2001 - LEATHER TRIM - on eBay, also, Alfa Romeo, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 29-Nov-07 11:53:16 GMT)

It's a real shame I missed out on the recaros that I was going for originally, still I think the guy selling was dodgy.

Anyhoo! I just bought these for £131 DELIVERED!!

One question though.

I have the interior facelift 156. Are the door cards going to match the rest of my interior, like the dash?

If not, is it possible to remove the leather/alfatex sections from the door cards?

Also, can I repair the worn leather on the drivers seat edge easily?

The leather will fix with any one of a number of kits.

The door cards wont match (though the B pillar probably will) the bumpier surfaces in your car, but you can remove and then glue the inserts into the existing door cards (carefully)

After taking the usual precautions (if you dont know get someone who does know) fit your own airbags into the other seats as you dont know the history of the old ones and also they will be past their sell by date in 2011 and this will not be reflected in the SRS chart in your car. They also may not be compatable with your airbag ECU.

Congrats AO.. I've never seen leather like that though, the middle section is perforated like in me mates car, doesn't get as hot in summer. It looks exactly the same shape as the seats in mine, but there's no Alfa Romeo embroidered into the seat back either?

Maybe someone has taken a Veloce cloth seats and had them recovered in leather?

Either way, you got a bargain..

I like the armrest......
Its the only thing I wanted in mine, but didn't get Still nice seats and a good price

The logo's are on the side of the headrests in 2001 cars, not embossed onto the seats - I think you can just make them out in those grainy pictures

The Momo logos are in the side of the headrest on my car, but I meant the embroidered Alfa logo on the front of the back of the seat if you know what I mean

No I don't mean the Momo logo, I have that on the side of my headrests too. I mean the Alfa Romeo logo, which I've seen embroidered into all 156's with leather, except the Ti seats of course.

Never seen perforated leather in a 156 either, which is what made me think it might be a custom set. They do look lovely though, and getting them for £130 is theft pure and simple

Those seats are the exact same as mine - the Alfa logo disappeared from the seats in 2001 AFAIK.

2001 onwards are all like this, the momo logo is on the side of the headrest.

earlier ones are as you described.

I'd much rather have an alfa badge in them though! Ahh well, cant have it all.
