semi slick tires 205/45/16

I would like to put some semi race, semi slick tires on my 155. I have 16" Speedline wheels and are not tempted to change them to 15", but I can't really find any semi slick tires in 205/45/16 tire

One option is Federal 595 RS. They have 205/45/16 in list. Have read quit good reviews, but I can't find any dealer except the German Pro Track Motorsportevents - Hier sind Sie richtig ! who priced 169 euro + 70 euro shipping. Quit a lot for Federal. Toyo and Michelin doesn't produce 205/45 semi slicks.

Other option could be UHP street tires like Zero Nero, Proxes T1R or even Kumho KU31...

What would you recommend? And what tires do you use on 16" wheels for track days?

Re: semi slick tires 205/45/16

I'm going to Toyo R888 on my 155 8v, in the size 195/50 R16 for the same reason as you. 195/50 in a trackday tyre will outperform the street tyres on the track anyway, regardless of size

BTW, Toyo T1R aren't that good on track, they littereally melt away...

Have you heard about Falken Azenis RT-616? They have 205/40/16 in lists, but the same problem, no one sells them in Europe

Nankangs are supposed to be pretty good on track. They may well be crap on the road but the hard rubber is just the job on a track car.
They are also cheap,

I think you mean RT-615. I'm on my second set. Great performance tyres with lots of grip on the track.
