ALFA 147

Bmc Cda Air Intake

Hy guys,

does enybody use bmc cda air intake on alfa 147??Is it worth that money,becouse it is pretty expensive.I now have a panel sport air filter, but I do not see anny diference in power!!

You won't notice any improvements just with an air filter...yes the bmc-cda is better then anything else, but it really makes difference in turbo cars.

For your car you should look for e remap about 8-10bhp...maybe sport cams and then the bmc-cda...if you are planing to make any hardware modifications to the engine, THEN the remap should come last...and should take into account any changes you have made.

But if you are looking to just improve the drive ability of the car, then just go for the remap.

Maybe some of the AO with your type of engine can help you more.

I would echo that, my dad had one fitted to his spider. No performance gain was noticed but it did sound a bit louder. If anything though it ruins the engine note.
