would love a GTA body kit for my 147 - couple of q's i need help on:
1. Is the kit simply a new front & rear bumper + side skirts?.... ie no change to actual mud guard panels?
2. Where can I source the kit?
thanks
have a look at my bella....I have the full GTA body kit from helvetia-spoiler.it
Yep the kit is simply a new front, rear, side skirts and rear roof spoiler....but most of the companies are making them out of fiber glass. So depending on the manufacturer, you can get a very good bumper or one that needs a lot of work in order to look good...meaning some bumpers are not curved perfectly and minor thing like that.
In my picture gallery the only thing missing from my bella are the side skirts.
These days if the weather permits I will be taking a lot of pictures of her....
I have looked at most of the body kits for the 147...but in the end I was thinking only between the zender kit and the GTA kit from helvetia.
If you want it to actually look like a GTA (as oppsed to a 147 with gta bumpers as above) then you need to change the front wings and add extensions onto the rear qtrs, then space the wheels to fit the wider arches.
ah that was my fear - so where would i source the guards?
and how do the extensionsfit the rear qtrs yet look completely smooth - does the original car have completely different rear qtrs to the std?
Cheers
GTA rear panels are wider, but they do fir a standard 147(3 door version only). The problem is reaplcing them, which is nearly impossible because they are welded and they cover about thalf the car.
