anyone used an ecu monitor?

looking to buy myself some form of ECU monitor so i can keep an eye on whats going on at all times rather than just when my laptop is connected up, at the moment im looking at the Greddy Informeter... ODB connection and full color display for any sensor monitored by the ECU so air flow, temps, pressures, mixtures etc...

what do you think? should i just say sod it and give it a go?

Thought the OBD 2 was the 2nd in the series stateside? Over here aren't we on EOBD and some.

EOBD is the european version of OBD II which is obviously the american one... same thing...

Take your point mate. But, Key points state, (bet you have the reference for MV studies: ) OBD 2 and EOBD are similar-but not identical- take care when interpreting the results? So, if you can do that, suppose it woud be OK?:

im always careful...

ill do a bit researching them first, may find a better unit (always ran apexi gear in the past)
