Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Yep Hunter, those ones. I think they are a 2007 design.
Got them fitted with some Pirelli P Zero Nero 235/45/18s.
Will get some pics up soon.
Cheers all.

Wheels look great! Are you going to put the Alfa Romeo logo on the center caps of the wheels?

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Kanga
It is more burbly at idle (not much though) and a bit noisier when revved - again not much though.
If I'm just driving along normally (you know at 30 like I always do ) then there is a bit more of a boom - not too much but quite pleasant
Jano at Autodelta reckons the exhaust is quite restrictive (along with the intake system) and is in the process of designing some exhaust system for the 159, maybe decatting it.
About the centre caps - I was going to leave the OZ ones but people seem to think it looks better with Alfa ones. What do people think?

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Ragazzon do an exhaust system cat back,Autodelta do one for the Brera 3.2 that looks exactly the same as the Quad pipe Ragazzon and Novitec also do one for the Brera 3.2.Remus do one and Supersprint have one for the 159 3.2 V6 ready any week now.I saw a video with sound clip for a Supersprint exhaust system on a156 GTA and it was the best sounding Alfa I have ever heard .I think I will order a Supersprint system for my 159 3.2.

Hi there, did you get the supersprint for your 159 3.2?
I am about to order Novitec to min becuase I thought supersprint was not going to make one for the 159? I would love to have supersprint, had that on my old 147, sounds great and looks great.

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Wow, just read through this thread, the 3.2 supercharged 159 sounds like a right beast
Not as much of a beast that the Monaro is though

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Jonnyboy,Just make sure they are not selling (Novitec) an exhaust that fits the 2.2 ,1.9td,2.4td and 3.2 because they will all fit but you could lose performance.Ragazzon only make one for the 2.2 and not the 3.2 ,.Supersprint are releasing theirs for the 3.2 at the end of November, they would be the best,I will tell you what it's like when I fit it.Have you listened to Jack156 GTA clip,it is a supersprint and the best sounding exhaust I have heard.

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Excellent conversion. I've discussed the possibility of doing this to a 159 3.2 Q4 wagon.
The wagon suits my bi-monthly trek from Athens down to the family farm on the Southern end of Greece. Good for my dogs!!!!
I think a supercharged wagon makes for something different. As for the badges on the OZ's, leave the OZ ones in place. The Alfa ones are not available as original equipment from OZ & I find that the Alfa ones which are usually stuck on come off in no time, doesn't matter what you do.
I had the carbon look OZ badges on my 19" OZ Superleggerras fitted to my GTA & they look good.
Even Autodelta just leave the OZ badges as is. That should tell a story in itself.
I've heard good reports on the Supersprint exhaust for Brera 3.2 & the 159 system is now available.
I've used there system on my GTA & it's the best system I've tried & I've been through many. Stick with Supersprint, you can't go wrong.

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
I have not seen any but hopefully i will have the system in the next 5 or 6 weeks and I will post some pictures and report on the sound. If it is as good as Alfajack156 I will be delighted.I think it is worth waiting for but it is more expensive than the others.

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Jonnyboy,wwwexhausts@yahoo.com.au,this is from Australia so won't be much use to you in Switzerland. However if you look up the Supersprint web site and go to distributors you will find the place to order from in Switzerland. The part numbers are75.48.13,75.48.24 and 75.78.44 for 100mm round tips.I don't know yet whether I will get the cat or not,it is expensive and I don't know how much extra power it gives.

Re: 159 3.2 Tuning
Do you mean the "drone"at 100kmh,I am hoping the new system will take this away.I want lots of noise at full throttle and it to be quiet when cruising.I am getting the 100mm tips because I think they will fill up the space more evenly.Did you listen to the alfa jack 156 clip to get an idea what it may sound like?I know it won't be that loud but it maybe too loud for you.If you are not sure why don't you wait and I will tell you if it is louder or not.A lot of money to spend if you are disappointed.Kanga

Thats what I am talking about, that "drone" from a 100 an up is realy irritating me, I can understand wy Alfa made it like that. you will probaly get i before me anyway, so it sounds like a plan, looking forward for the sound check and review
edit, where can i listen to that alfa jack 156 clip
