How to update?

Hey all,

My 2000 GTV 2.0 TS P2 has a throttle body mounted M1.5.5 ECU which I've been told,

"the throttle-body mounted ECUs can be opened up to have the "chip" swapped as was the case for the earlier ECUs.....software has to be upgraded by uploading revised maps via the diagnostic port"

Can anyone tell me:

How to check for updates?

How to carry out the updates?

Where I can get new fuel maps to upload?
