are they really that bad? surely though they must give the benefits advertised otherwise especially buying through ebay everyone would just demand their money back?

Yes.

Maybe, but they will ruin your car. All they do is sit inline with the fuel delivery module and up the amount of fuel being injected by a factor of X.

I repeat - stay WELL away.

If you want a remap, get one done - don't buy a plugin box off Ebay.

waste of time mate.

i have learnt that trying to go the cheap route when trying to tune your car is not to way forward.

spend a few extra quid and get a good company to remap it
