6 speed gearbox in 4 cyl t.s.?

i was wondering if anyone ever tried to change gearbox from 5 speed to 6 speed in 4 cylinder twin spark engine, i know that replacing gearbox from a gta is not working as it will not have space to the (lower i thing) wishbones...
so we need to find another "donor"
as far as i know only the fiat stilo and fiat doblo came with a 6 speed gearbox (even to the small 1.2 engine)

anyone tried this modiffication?
and if anyone knows what is the torque that this gearbox can handle?

Find a 166 t-spark, use the bell housing off that with the remains of a 6 speed 156 v6 box.

Not saying it'll be straight forward though.

You'd probably need to use 1.9 jtd driveshafts with that combo as well.

No, I mean the depth of the bell housing may differ and need to be compensated for.
