Hi and welcome to AO. There are quite a few Aussys here on AO who are quite active so they should be able to help when they log in . PT14 is the only guy I can think of off hand but I'm sure I've seen tuning threads relating your country before

Granted, not much engine tuning available in Oz. However, who around the world offers remaps for the 147 JTD? Not many, regardless of location. But you can probably arrange to have your ECU sent over there for the job.
Plenty of us in Oz do other mods, like suspension, wheels, brakes, exhaust. If you haven't done suspension and brakes (pads), these are probably of better benefit than a remap anyway.
Feel free to join us at ausalfa.com .

Hey mate. I'm in Perth and yes its a load of ********. The service centres here say that remapping is not popular enough and the equipment is too expensive to buy, so all they offer you is the tuning boxes in regards to the alfas. Bit backward..but at least I found a few mechanics who know how to work their way around an alfa, everyone else knows jack ****..

Hi Jasalfa,
Some advice from a fellow Queenslander: Join AROCA. Get your parts from the UK not Euromart!
Cheers,

ME have a look at the wizrdovoz/unicorse thread. Also, I just sent one to a chap in Aus, and he is a member of the ausalfa forum, and he's going to put a thread up on that forum.
OR, just ask me.

I'll bite.. who/where are the locals who can map a 1.9 (8v) derv.
I'm in brissy with i expect the only 156 JTD SW in the country (brought it home from the UK). I'd send the ECU to the UK for a remap but need to use the car everyday - seriously how hard could it be to FTP into my ECU via the internets...

There may be a remapping company coming to Aus in the new year for Remaps. Watch this space.
