I'm running max 2.2bar actually (the air mass went slightly down with increased outer temperature).

2.4bar (2.5@3250+) boost seems to be the max (haven't tested it much).

100mm3? Lightly above 200HP with completely tuned injection I suppose

Currently it's limit of my knowledge. But should be capable to do more. Definitely EGT sensor strongly adviced there.

but 8v, which restricts air flow at high revs, comparing to 16v

It doesent matter if your car is multijet... 8V head is too restrictive.
And if you compare your engine to the one yan.ko has the difference is only in fuel pump, injectors, and compression ratio is a bit lower. The main problem is diameter of inlet valves in the head, which are too small.

Probably I wouldnt be far off if I tell you that with same boost pressure and same fuel injection 16V engine can do 10-15% more power at higher revs.

Thanks guys, I've seen 1.9mjtd 8v runing 235hp with stock injection system but I don't know the values .

Your injection system is capable enough to go over 230bhp, there is no question about that.
Problem is lack of air. With 2bar boost, good FMIC and some kind of water injection to cool the intake charge down even further, 230bhp could be doable.

I think Joel wrote that either long EGT probe wasn't long enough to reach the main exhaust gas stream.

Yes, I mean that the EGT probe placed in manifold EGR junction was short and did not read EGT fully. But it would be better to ask Joel. May be I misunderstood it too.

Do it right and make a hole into the exhaust manifold, just before the turbo. You cant measure on downpipe, exhaust is much cooler after the turbo.

And I agree with yan.ko this Punto smokes way too much for my liking. It would probably be smoke-less with ~10BHP less. I prefer smoke-less...
