Yes, I've read all the stuff (some of it quite surprisingly vitriolic)
No, I'm not an idiot
and No, I don't want a debate about 'Modifica' boxes, etc. versus remapping (read it all!).

And I definitely don't want wild opinions from people who haven't actually experienced these items in use.

What I'd love to know (from people who've tried and or bought them) is:
1. Do they work? Do they do what Mangos claim?
2. Are the gains sustained, or do they deteriorate over time?
3. What are the gains experienced - Performance and economy?
4. Is it/was it worth the money?
5. Any problems experienced
6. Did you remove it? If so, why?
7. How many installs are there?

FYI, I'm contemplating Mods 1 & 2 (= Mod 3) which consists of the turbo boost mod plus the Steinbauer tuning box (looks like AutoDelta have dropped theirs)

I may also consider the (so called) Power pedal.

All (sensible) contributions welcome.

Cant comment on mango turbo boost mod resistor.......BUT

don't go for the Steinbauer. Personally they do make a small difference in power, because the Steinbauer works by allowing the injector opening duration to be a little longer( more fuel) What they really make difference in is smoke output

minimum setting = The guy behind makes it through the black mist
Maximum setting + the guy behind crashes

Honestly the boxes are not worth it and thats what the mangos mod is. Mangos mod 3 and the Steinbauer might work better

I had the MOD3 done last year as I still had warranty and wanted the confidence of a main dealer fitment. I recently put the car on the RR and it put out 242bhp and 332lbf with a very impressive flat torque curve from about 1500 peaking at 3200. I'd attach the scan of the RR report but it's too big, sorry.

I didn't do standard figures but I am very happy with the performance of the car although I still suffer turbo-lag. I'm still not convinced that the resistor (MOD 1) gives me anything but the box certainly seems to have done the trick. From what I have read it's the MOD1 that fades with time as the ECU gradually compensates for the frigged input.

As for economy, I have Autodelta box set to 6 and I don't think it has affected the economy either way, I do a fair bit of motorway tootling and achieved similar figures prior to the Mod but only relied on the computer.

All that said, I will probably go for the DPF removal, EGR bypass and remap at some point in the future, if you are not worried about the warranty and main dealer back-up (?) I would go for this option.
