Poweralfa / Alfabelt.net / AngelTuning

Anyone used these guys recently?

Last post here re Poweralfa is 2003

They claim to have a workshop in Rugby which is where I work and I want some suspension work done on my 2.4 Sportwagon. My nearest stealer is in Northampton which is a pain to get to (or pay )

Otherwise I am going to have to trust to a luck dip in the yellow pages for a suitable garage.

Angel used to be recommended for re-mapping I think. Still OK?

Jerry

PowerAlfa went out of business a couple of years ago.
The same guy is now "Alfabelt".

For a remap I'd recommend Red Dot in Watford. I've used Angel Tuning before and was happy with everything about how the car drove etc, but the quoted power figure was about 20bhp off.

Depends what sort of "suspension work" you are after rally but there are a few Alfa specialists in the region. You could try Northants Alfa in Wellingborough, there is also Andy Blake in Northampton.

I personally take my car to AforAlfa in Ayelsbury, it's a bit far but worth it cos he does a good job and knows his stuff when it comes to modifying

Re: Poweralfa / Alfabelt.net / AngelTuning

I've used Angel Tuning in the past for a remap but wouldn't use them again. Exhaust was smokey and power on a RR was less than they suggested.

I've used Andy Blake before, but for parts rather than fixing it (Just because I fit them) and he's always been spot on Definately knows his Alfa's.
