Angel Tuning

Hi all, has anyone used Angel Tuning before? I am thinking about getting Eibach springs fitted and maybe chipping my 3.2 GTV. They will do both for £620 according to their website so I was interested to know if anyone has used them and what the service \ results were like.

Thanks all

Re: Angel Tuning

My 147GTA was remapped by Angel tuning before I bought it. Was happy with it, seemed to run fine, but didn't drive it 'standard' so couldn't compare.

However, for various reasons I had by car re-mapped by Autodelta. Before it was done they sent it in to be MOT'd (still with the AT map) - it failed, miserably.

One of the values was meant to be no more than 0.03%....it was 6.66%. AD said the standard mapping was "terrible". After they remapped it, all was well and it passed.

Not sure if there were any other issues at work here - as I say, I'd had some other work done with AD before the MOT and this may have affected the figures. Car ran excellently beforehand, only downside was the strange MOT emissions.

Make of that what you will! I'm pretty sure others on here have been happy with it.

Re: Angel Tuning

I have a poor remap from Autodelta. The previous owner had it done.

It's still on my car. I have a glitch when the car is in cold mode.

I would not spend any more on a remap there. It is overpriced anyway.

Red Dot all the way. They supplied angel with all their mapping in the first place.

1. Red Dot in Watford. Use of rolling road and option of a custom map. Plus the prices are cheapest in the UK and if you are an alfaowner club member you get a further discount.

2. Angel - Come to you and I have heard mostly good things about them.

Re: Angel Tuning

Had mine re-mapped by Angel. It is a dirty diesel so no doubt it will be different, but Angel were quick, knowledgeable and came to my workplace to do it. Been about 8 months now, no problems and an MOT pass in March.
