I'm looking to buy a 147 JTDm with 140 hp in octobre (i'm out of the coutry till then) and after searching the web and this site i was wondering what i can do to get more power, i'm going to install the madeno performance pack on it ( ecu remap, aluminium intercooler, air intake, and rear silencer ,
Madeno Racing) wich will give me an increase of 45 hp, and even though i think 185 hp is nice for an 147, my dream is to obtain around 200 hp for my precious... so what else can there be changed, in order to get more power? can the turbo be changed ? i'm asking for help because i really don't know very much about engines, especially not for diesel engines, i know i'd better go for a petrol engine if i really want to get a lot of hp's, but petrol's prices, and the fact that i do a lot of miles, are forcing me to go for diesel ( coming from the man who once said that diesel was only for trucks & tractors )
