HI,
I had that some time ago. There was a problem with the other belt that runs anternator, airco most and other stuff. Subsequently that belt fell off and caused some more destruction in the system - with one of the cylinder's valves going to hell and car going into a dead mode

So it was a comprehensive distribution system failure which was then fully repaired including all components like belts, tensioners etc.
Question really is, does after such a repair and then engine set up the remapping go to hell?? I noticed that the car has lost the additional 25bhp I had, which was well confirmed some three, four times under quite controlled conditions same load etc Car was able to do 10km/h more top speed then before the remap - respectively 208 vs 218 after (GPS measured each time) After the repair and another two tests I am almost sure that has gone to hell as the car now does exactly 208-209 and not one km/h more!
Awaiting opinions, I'm sure this had happened before to somebody else, probably it is only me discovering new worlds..

Thinking of... 159SW 2.4JTDm Q4, 18" spoke rims, black + black upholstery + remap 210->250bhp
