Re: Remaping Suffolk

What sort of gains did you get from the remap, before and after power/torque figures etc?!

Cheers,

Mark

Re: Remaping Suffolk

I just can't imagine those sort of gains, even with a total rebuild let alone a remap. I could be very wrong but I would check it out very very carefully, it sounds like someone is either having you on or made a mistake!!

Re: Remaping Suffolk

He's a BS'er!!! Anyone who frequently uses this site (which he says he does) knows that the remapping threads are all pretty old now and we all know which places to use...

You only have to look at the way he speels his words to tell he's a spammer...

Good man (or woman... Thanks Reg)

What air filter have you fitted just out of interest

Does GCL use their own software or the Red Dot/Angel/Celtic type generic maps

Oh and have you got any idea what the new torque figure is

Re: Remaping Suffolk

Being something of an ignoramus on Alfas, and more beside, how does the standard machine ex-works cope with these extra power outputs achieved? Not too technical, please, just wondered about DMF's, suspensions, braking systems and so on? Do these need to be upgraded to cope? Interesting topic though, which will no doubt be made clearer to me in due course,Thanks.:

To be honest ZF I would recommend the brake pads are upgraded, however everything else will be fine.
