I'll wait until I see it till I believe it. I'd still be pretty certain that Q2 differential (part number 0055208952) doesn't fit the gearbox of a Brera/Spider/159 as it is different from the gearbox fitted to 156/147/GT/GTV/166 etc.. The Q2 doesn't fit the 6-speed box in the 156 2.4 JTD 20V either for exactly the same reason - totally different gearbox, and that car isn't listed on the Jamie Porter website..

Woah now, I will give you a call to discuss this Gary. If you are going to trade through the site I need to confirm your identity. We already have this set up with a few other dealers in the country (Picadilly, HR Owen...)

Re: Remaping Suffolk

That list was copied straight out of the Q2 thread, apart from the bit about the brera/spider/159 that certainly wasn't.

Not sure.. Maybe its a mistake? Maybe its a different Q2 differential (different part number) to what is fitted to the older models.. I can't understand how if it fits the 159/Brera/Spider 20v then why it doesn't fit the 156 20v as these both use the same engine and 6-speed gearbox (no idea about 159 1.9)..

Maybe the different procedure Jamie mentions involves the retro-fitting of other internals, or having some sort of adapter fitted to make it all work. I'd love to know how though as no-one else can apparently make a Q2 fit the newer models..

Back on the road: Alfa 156 3.0 24v V6, Silver with red leather, Q2 diff, GTA Teledials, headlights & inlet manifold, AutoDelta carbon intake,
decat pipe and SuperSprint rear box, Dastek Unichip, FK coilovers - my 245bhp beast!

Gone but not forgotten: Alfa 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, Vela Blu, Angel 'mad map' & BMC CDA, Ferodo DS2500s - the fastest tractor in town!

I'd expect it to fit a Punto 1.9 JTD as that'd have a variation of the old gearbox, as fitted to the 147/GT/156 with 1.9 JTD engines..
