Diesel Tuning advice

Our 147 multijet diesel 150 bhp gets traded in next week for an 07 GT with the same engine.

Whilst its a nippy engine in the 147 i feel the extra weight of the GT means i'll need to get the engine tuned/remapped.

Any recommendations for tuning companies, Preferably in the NW of england. Am i looking at a max of 180bhp from it with a simple map ?

Thanks

Re: Diesel Tuning advice

well i think mine is supposed to be 185 - but i think it is more like 175 - but that could just be me being too nice to my gt

think it cost around £300

Re: Diesel Tuning advice

angel tuning also work closely with a company in the northeast called vsport where they can remap your car on the rolling road to get better results. maybe try giving them a ring? vsport is owned by a chap called dave, he is very helpful. give him a ring on 01915365900 maybe?

Try and bat the price down too. You should not be paying more than £250 IMO.

I know Red Dot will do a rolling road remap for £250 but that is very cheap compared to most places for a rolling road map. I don't know of a specialist for other manufacturers that will do a custom remap so cheap.

I've even managed to sway my BMW owning housemate into getting a quote off Augusto for his 330D, most BMW specialists are wanting £400-£700

To keep up with my V6, yes. His might even be quicker after he gets it remapped though. That'd be a nightmare.

I'd have to get a NOS kit installed or something then

This almost looks like an ad.

Is the dealership you work for connected to gcl tuning?
