True that, i second Rush's comments. Not only is he top notch with his workmanship, he is also a real pleasure to talk to. Always happy and offers great service. I bought GTA inlet cams for my 166 from him, and now busy working out a plan for my GTA with him.

He's a top notch guy, anytime..

A few Qs out of interest.

What do Glenwood (and AHM for that matter) do about the throttle when they switch to ITBs? Convert to cable or has it been possible to reuse the original stepper to move all those bits? I imagine that either way would require an aftermarket ECU with TPS or MAP. Anybody able to enlighten me please?

check my post on 425 bhp alfa 156 in tuning and upgrades section. Dawie uses cables and bins the fly by wire business.. it's explained better on this post, quoted from the owner of the car in South Africa....

p.s. i can only say what Dawie does, dunno how AHM do it...

You're right Stephen, Dawie uses an accelerator cable to operate the ITB's because the throttle potensiometer (fly by wire) is an electronic accelerator. He had to build a pedal box which meant removing the dasboard for fitment.
Who is the guy in S.A that had ITB's fitted to his car ?

I agree about Dawie. He is top on Alfa's. He is very helpful to me also.
I'm very pleased with the 3.7 engine I received. The engine speak for him.
I should buy from him also a full exhaust system. Something that is very simple for them proved to be so difficult to make here.
It took so long to manage and make a decent exhaust .
Soon as i finished with the setup I will post some photos from all the job.

The 3.8 engine kits I have the pistons made to my design
and the liners not from Dawie
The rods are Arrow to my design as well
The Throttle bodies kits are Jenvey TBs Inlet manifolds
fuel rails etc are to my design

Image is everything these days.. Look at AutoDelta's shop, your website could be similar, might cost you a bit though, but going on what I hear about your firm you certainly have the expertise to be up there with the big boys. Adie,

As Pud says, websites are an extremely important aspect of business. An amateur site gives an impression of an amateur company, and in many respects a website is your customers first impression of your business.

Personally, I find the website difficult to use. The menu on the left is dfficult to read and there's too much yellow text.

Get it professionally designed - its actually not that expensive now for a good site (massive amounts of competition) and it'll make a huge difference.

(I hope this doesn't sound too critical!)
