Can you not calculate the pressure drop across the intercooler and adjust the outlet accordingly...or increase the pressure head?

?? What do you mean by adjust the pressure head accordingly? Surely you just want the lowest pressure drop possible?

Yes, front mounted but in the wing is it not?

No, its not in the wing its to the right of the rad, at the front of the wing. It is front mounted, ie its on the front of the car facing in the direction of travel, therefore in direct contact with the oncoming air. The picture is also of a front mounted intercooler, but mounted in front of the rad. Both are front mounted, but I dont like this setup as it obstructs cooling to the rad and on top of that, the air in the intercooler transfers its heat to the air around the intercooler, so the air around the rad will be warmer, thus decreasing cooling even more.
